Warm springs

Last weekend there was a YSA region activity at the warm springs in Nevada.  The church has this 75 acre recreation site and it is a little oasis in the middle of nowhere.  You drive through the nothingness of southern Utah and Nevada then all of a sudden there is this place, tucked away, surrounded by palm trees.  We started with a barbecue lunch then just played and did whatever we wanted all day.  Some people played ultimate frisbee but my friends and I just swam all day.  The pools are filled with natural warm spring water that felt SO good.  Once we got in we knew we were there for good.  The weather was perfect and it was so nice to just spend all day outside.  At the end of the day there was a boat race in one of the pools. Every ward had created a boat made of cardboard and duct tape to bring to the activity to race. Our ward dominated and won by a mile.
