This was the last day at our condo! We went down to Turtle Bay Beach one last time. I had wanted to walk out to the end of this rock thing and so Jelisa and I finally made the treck out there. the rocks were very sharp and jagged and there were holes and little cave things everywhere so it was actually a little difficult to get out there. I wish I had my camera with me because it was so pretty to look out to the ocean once we got out there.
After the beach we went to the pool one last time then went and picked up a rental car. We had to get a small SUV to fit all of our luggage and we were so happy that we got a 2011 Jeep Patriot with only 900 miles on it. It smelled new and didn't have a scratch or scuff anywhere. We felt so free having a car instead of having to rely on the bus and pay to get everywhere! We drove around for a while just because we could and got our last snow cone.
Wedrove back to the condo and were so happy to finally be able to use our gate key and our parking spot for one day. We made cookies for some friends that we had made in Turtle Bay that had helped us out with bus tips, travel plans, borrowing things, local info, picking us up and giving us rids and so much more. We dropped off the cookies and said goodbye and thank you to them.
We came back after delivering the cookies and did laundry, cleaned, packed and finished Gilmore Girls.
It had been our goal while we were in Hawaii to watch the entire Gilmore Girls series. We knew it was quite a lofty goal but we felt up to it :) We watched 3 episodes in St. George before we left and decided to skip through about 3 episodes as we were watching becuase we started to worry that we weren't going to make it through them all but WE DID IT! Yes, that is 7 seasons, 153 episodes, 113 hours of Gilmore Girls and we loved every (well, almost every) minute of it.
