Called to Serve

Parker received his mission call yesterday!  My mom went and picked it up from the post office yesterday morning and it sat at our house all day until we all gathered to watch him open it at 9 o'clock.  We had our immediate family there (Amanda and Landen via skype), his roommates, and a few of his good friends.  His friends showed up early - even before Parker got there -  and they were just as anxious and excited as he was!

Going to Missouri wouldn't mean much to most people but for Parker it is PERFECT.  He chose to go to St. Louis for his Senior trip so he spent a few days there this summer and loved the city.  Everyone in the room was so excited and shocked when he read where he was going and it was an awesome experience for everyone there.

Parker sees where he is going the second he looks at the paper and you can see his reaction at the very beginning.  As Austin and Weston are reading over his shoulder you can see the moment when each of them see where he is going and their reactions are priceless.
