oxymoron?

Until yesterday, I thought that "rural California" was an oxymoron. Living in Orange County I don't get to see much of the great outdoors in the way that us Utahns think of it. Well this weekend I went with some friends to Oak Glenn, California. Let's just say, I felt like I was in Fairview :) This little town was filled with apple orchards and stores that sell anything to do with apples. Apple candy, fresh apple cider, apple decorations, apple donuts, and of course, apples. We originally went up to pick apples but ended up picking raspberries. After picking raspberries we stood in a long line for some famous apple donuts.
Mountains! And lots of raspberries.

An apple donut is a very intriguing idea there. I wonder if it takes like an apple fritter?? Those are pretty tasty.
Looks like a fun day full of tasty goods!

What a fun day. I'm glad you have good friends to do things with. This is the first time I have seen your haircut! It's cute and still long...
