Day 31

Our last day on the island.  We got up and packed up all of our stuff.  We loved our little place so much and we had been there so long that it really felt weird to pack up and leave.  We hit the road and went to Hale'iwa and ate lunch and enjoyed our last bit of time on the North Shore.  We hit the Dole plantation on our way out to get Dole Whip before we left.

We drove to Honolulu and made sure we knew where the airport was then we spent a few hours driving back and forth between Honolulu and Waikiki and killed time before we had to return our rental car.

We must have been quite a sight hauling around all of this luggage between the 3 of us.

Once we were able to check our luggage we got some dinner and had a few hours to kill before our flight so we just sat and read.  Book # 5

Book #6
We landed in Vegas where Shellee's parents picked us up from the airport.  We went to breakfast then headed back to St. George.  It's hard to believe that the whole trip has come and gone.  I didn't go into much detail on this blog but we had so much fun and it was so nice to just have absolutely nothing to do.  We had some fun adventures and many funny moments that i'm sure we will be laughing about for a long time.  It was so refreshing and rejuvenating to have a break from work and stress and schedules to just have time to relax and think.  My stress free life is about to be jammed full of the stress that comes with moving and starting over somewhere new but the timing is good and i'm excited for the next adventure, whatever it may be!
